Two persons were killed and two injured in an accident near Bidadi on Bengaluru-Mysuru Road on Sunday night.The deceased were Ranjith, 27,and Vinod, 28, both residents of Kengeri New Town. The injured Shashank and Harivardhini, both from Chennai, are stated to be critical. They are being treated at a private hospital in Bengaluru.
All the four, who attended the wedding of Ranjith's sister in Bengaluru on Sunday, decided to go on an outing on Sunday night. Ranjith lost control over the car while changing lanes and crashed into a tanker near Punith farm at Sheshagirihalli.
Ranjith and Vinod sustained severe injuries and were killed on the spot. The Bidadi police have registered a case.

Kannada film actress Pooja sustained injuries after a cow attacked her during the shooting of 'Mukahakki' movie near Begur on Monday. The actor was taken to Apollo Hospital for treatment. Pooja is out of danger and doctors have advised her 10 days' rest.
Director of 'Mukahakki', Neenasam Manju, confirmed the incident. The crew completed shooting of the climax for the movie. They had used the cow for the shooting. They were about to pack up and leave the premises when the cow attacked her. Pooja was injured near her waist.She was immediately rushed to the hospital.Pooja hogged the limelight through the award-winning movie "Tithi."
