Staff make early exit

State government employees were among the first to exit their work places once city began witnessing trouble.

As news about the stoppage of Metro services and rumours of imposition of prohibitory orders went around, government employees in the city, punched out of their offices by afternoon.

Employees working in the secretariat (Vidhana Soudha and Vikasa Soudha), who were following developments on television channels and social media, started clearing out of their offices by 2.30 - 3 pm.
