Amnesty meet:  Kashmiri Trust seeks probe

Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Welfare Trust has written to Home Minister G Parameshwara seeking "fair and free" investigations into the "anti-India slogan shouting" at the event organised by Amnesty International India (AII)on August 13 .

The letter, copies of which have been marked to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the City Police Commissioner, says the case should be handed over to a central agency.

R K Mattoo, chairman of the trust, in the letter has criticised AII for focussing only on human rights violations by armed forces while ignoring brutalities against the Kashmiri Pandits.
