Director of the Kannada movie 'Mastigudi,' Nagashekhar and stunt director Ravi Varma were released from the Ramanagaram jail on Monday.
The high court had granted them bail on December 16 in connection with the drowning of two actors - Raghav Uday and Anil Kumar - while shooting for the film in Thippagondanahalli reservoir on November 7. The two actors drowned in the dam after they jumped from a helicopter during the shooting.
Ravi Varma and Nagashekhar, who were absconding after the incident, surrendered at the Magadi Road police station on November 12. The producer of the film Sundar Gowda, one of the accused in the case, is yet to get bail.
