The police have imposed traffic restrictions on roads in and around Devanahalli on Wednesday as over four lakh people are likely to visit the Venugopalswamy Laksha Deepotsava at Devanahalli town. Devotees are expected to arrive there in around 6,000 vehicles.
The police said cabs and taxies bound for Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) from Whitefield and KRPuram should take the following route: Airlines Dhaba- left turn-Agalakote cross-right turn-Baichapur- left turn- Anneshwar right turn-Yarapanahalli-Bhuavanhalli NH-7-left turn to airport.
The other restrictions are as follows:
*Vehicles bound for Bengaluru from Chikkaballapur and Vijayapura should
take the Devanahalli bypass.
*Buses from Bengaluru city should stop at the newly-built temporary bus stop at Devanahalli bypass.
*Buses from Doddaballapur town going towards Vijayapura , Kolar and Devanahalli should stop at the newly-constructed temporary bus stop at Doddaballapur cross.
*Buses from Hoskote to Devanahalli should stop at the newly-built temporary bus stop at Elite Rose Layout, Sulibele Road, Devanahalli.
*Vehicles from Doddaballapur to Hoskote and Hosur should take the Vijayapura Road.
*Vehicles from Hoskote and Hosur heading towards Chikkaballapur and NH-7 should take a right turn near Airlines Dhaba and Balepura via Channarayapattana and Vijayapura to reach Chikkaballapur and NH-7.
