City-based Christ University has been awarded a score of 3.25 and an 'A' status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Committee (NAAC). A 10-member strong team, inclusive of five ex-vice chancellors, carried out a study spread over four days, before giving their verdict. The committee also visited and evaluated Christ University's three campuses, and each of its schools, faculty, departments and centres.
University's Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Father Abraham stated that the NAAC peer team prompted "a positive introspection amongst all stakeholders during their assessment". The 'A' status does make us happy and more importantly, bolsters our belief in excellence and service," he remarked.
