The BJP's Ekta Samavesha, aimed at consolidating the support of Other Backward Classes, will be inaugurated by party national president Amit Shah on Sunday at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.
Being organised by the party's OBC Morcha, the convention will be attended by Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman besides a host of state BJP leaders.
According to the schedule, Shah will arrive from Vijayawada at HAL Airport around 10 am and later participate in the convention which may begin at 11.30 am. He will leave for Delhi at 3 pm.
At the venue, a huge dais has been arranged to accommodate at least two dozen people. The party said that transport, food and drinking water arrangements have been made for about 1.5 lakh people.
