Several organisations, including the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation), Social Democratic Party of India and Aam Aadmi Party will stage a demonstration on Thursday in protest against demonetisation.
The protestors have demanded faster issuance of Rs 500 notes and extension of the deadline to submit old notes so that common people do not suffer.
"Make public the complete list of Indians who have accounts in Swiss banks, Panama and other tax havens and list out corporates who have burdened public sector banks with non-performing assets of more than 7.5 lakh crore," a press release here on Wednesday stated.
The release also urged the government to use recovered black money and debt to push for universal healthcare, universal education, a minimum wage of Rs 21,000 a month to all workers and guarantee minimum income for all farmers," it stated.
