A man was killed and two of his fellow riders were injured when a truck rear-ended their motorbike at Vidyanagar Cross in Chikkajala, north Bengaluru, around 10 am on Monday.
The deceased, Marappa (40), a labourer, was riding pillion on a motorbike with two of his co-workers — Munikondappa (40), and Rajanna (35).
The men, hailing from Huthanahalli village, were on the way to their workplace near Chikkajala when the accident occurred.
Marappa died on the way to the hospital. The other two are being treated at the hospital.
The jurisdictional Chikkajala traffic police have booked the truck driver, Vijay.
